To Religious folk. Since heaven is in the sky and hell is below the earth, then why is the earth round?

The authors of the Bible clearly thought the Earth was flat, with heaven above and hell below. In Isaiah the word chuwg is used that means, circle. If Isaiah intended to say ball/sphere, he would have used the Hebrew word duwr.
