How do you ping a computer on your home router?

It should be as simple as "ping ". If the destination is unreachable, maybe the IP is wrong, the PC isn't powered on, or isn't connected to the network. You should be able to access a web-based router interface that shows you whose connected to your network. Go to your manufacturers support web page.
