In 1939 Neville Chamberlain, PM of England, appeased Germany thru talks and giving up land and retreating from confrontation. In 1945, General George Patton said that since we will have to fight the "commmies" sooner or later, lets do it now while we have the troops here. Which better policy describes Iran/Iraq today?
