An itinerary for backpacking in India?

i would love to be in your shoes!!! i would travel for ever. go to bombay and there is a island off the coast that called Elephanta island it has caves with the god's its like being Indiana jones movie. its amazing place to go. and the taj its one of the 7 wonders of the world. loads of people but not that many europeans mostly indians from different places their is goa on the east coast hippy city. Calcutta's the poorest city in india very sad but its real life not that many tourists down south is quiet and Beautiful i like northern part of india the cultures mix together and you see many different sides to india. i hope this helped you a little and you are one lucky guy! good luck
