Why does my truck keep dying?

I have a 2000 montero sport suv. recently my truck has died multiple times on me. as i'm driving the power goes out in my truck. I got a new battery and had my alternator checked and it continues to not wanna start without boosting off my battery. if anyone has any idea what the problem could be I would really appreciate it.
