Stomach is bigger, but weigh the same?

I swear my stomach (gut and that area..) has gotten larger. I'm 5'4'' and weigh 124. I was that weight 3+ mos ago, and thought that area looked smaller. What's the deal?? Am I imagining? Water retention??? But I heard water ret. was in all of your bod?
