Question about pesto pasta w/chicken?

I would keep it the way you have it. The pesto could burn. One thought though, you could marinate the chicken in the pesto and bake the chicken in the sauce then add to the pasta. Personally though, the way you do it is best. =) If you want a more flavorful chicken, then you can always marinate the chicken in a salt brine and continue your recipe as usual.
