Is it free for me to call on weekends/after 9pm weekdays?

i have the verizon NATIONWIDE TALK FAMILY SHARE SEC 700 SHR W/PRI $9.99 S4968 0110 plan . i know that verizon-to-verizon calling is free all the time, but what about verizon-to-tmobile (or any other carrier) on weekends and after 9pm weekdays? i looked around online & people said that if you have verizon & you call someone who's not verizon on weekends / after 9 pm it 's free .. but after calling a friend with t-mobile, i looked online and it seems like the minutes were counted. help asap please ! thanks (:
